At Ebenezer United Methodist Church we feel children are a special gift from God. They are our future.  Teaching our children about the Bible and helping them to grow in their faith is of great importance at Ebenezer.   

Sunday School Class - 9:45 AM 

On Sunday morning, we offer Sunday School classes for children of all ages.  Children learn about the Bible and how to apply it to everyday life.  The children also sing songs of faith and worship during the Sunday School hour in a relaxed, informal setting.

Sunday Children's Worship Service - 11:00 AM

During the Worship Service, the children are offered the opportunity to attend a children's church where they experience a worship service on their level.

Vacation Bible School 2009

June 22-25 - Monday-Thursday - 5:30PM-8:00PM

Theme - "Everyday Heroes"

We are happy to say that our 2009 Vacation Bible School was a ton of fun for the children and at the same time was educational.  The children learned about "Everyday Heroes" and how they relate to heroes in the bible.  Along with their crafts, music, and special lessons, the children had special guests come each day to visit and talk about everyday heroes.  The children brought can goods, food, and money each day to donate at the end of the week to those in need.  The children learned that by helping others, they could also be an "Everyday Hero."

So, 2009 Vacation Bible is over and Ebenezer would like to say a "BIG THANK YOU"  to the dedicated church members who worked very hard to make bible school a huge success this year.  A special thanks goes out to some of our other church members who were our special guests that brought their tractors, stage coach, and their school coaching/teacher skills.  We also want to thank the Fayette County Fire Department for bringing a fire truck and some of their fire fighters to talk fire safety and rescue skills to the children.  Last but not least, we want to thank the parents who allowed their children to come and have fun with us.
